Yes, Bayer Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Ready-To-Use may be applied indoors for control of the following pests:

Carpenter Ants: For effective control, locate and treat nests and surrounding areas. Apply around doors and windows and other places where ants enter premises and where they crawl and hide. Spray into infested wood through existing openings.

Silverfish, Crickets, Roaches and Ants: Apply as a spot and crack-and-crevice treatment to areas where these pests crawl and hide, especially in hidden areas around sinks and storage areas, behind baseboards, around doors and windows, and similar areas. Cover all food handling surfaces and cover or remove all food and cooking utensils or wash thoroughly after treatment. Exposed food should be covered or removed. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per week.

Spiders: Apply along and behind baseboards, to window and door frames, corners, pipes, storage localities, attics, crawl spaces and other areas over which these pests may crawl.

Centipedes, Ground Beetles, Pillbugs, Sowbugs, Scorpions and Ticks: Apply around doors and windows and other places where these pests may enter the premises. For ticks, spray surfaces until moist. Treat baseboards, storage areas and other locations where these pests are found. Also, treat your yard with a product registered for yard application.

Bayer Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Ready-To-Use should be applied as an aid in preventing termite infestations. The purpose of such applications is to kill workers or winged forms that may be present in the treated areas at the time of application. This product is not recommended as sole protection against termites.

For active infestations, get a professional inspection. Such applications are not a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil treatment or foundation treatment but are merely a supplement. For severe termite infestation, contact a professional pest control operator in your area.

• Use 2 Tbl. (1 fl. oz.) of Bayer Advanced™ Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus per gallon of water.

• Spray or brush evenly onto outdoor wooden surfaces. Spray into areas of known or suspect insect activity such as holes, voids and channels in damaged wood, spaces between wooden parts of a structure, spaces between different types of building materials (for example, wood and concrete), and cracks and crevices. Spray exposed insects.

• Carpenter bee holes should be filled with a suitable sealant when there is no evidence of bee activity, usually 24 hours after treating holes.

• To keep insects from entering the house, spray a 3-foot-wide band on the ground around the house next to the foundation. Spray the foundation of the house to a height of 1 to 2 feet. Spray around doors, windows and other possible entry points.

• To protect firewood from carpenter ants, treat each 8 square feet of ground with 1 gallon of diluted product prior to stacking.

• Use a hose-end sprayer for large areas.

Bayer Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate should be used to prevent subterranean termite infestations and is registered for outdoor homeowner post-construction use only.

Use Around Building Foundations:

1. Use 3/4 cup (6 fl. oz.) of Bayer Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate per gallon of water.
2. Dig a trench next to the foundation measuring 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep or down to the top of the footing, whichever is less. Never dig below the top of a footing (to avoid shifting the foundation). Remove and discard any scrap wood unearthed while digging.
3. Apply 4 gallons of diluted product to every 10 feet of trench length. Refill trench with soil, mixing it with liquid. One quart treats up to 13 feet of trench length.
4. Reapplication should only be made when there has been a disruption of the chemical barrier in the soil due to construction, excavation, landscaping, etc. Reapplication should be made as a spot treatment to those areas. Annual reapplication of the entire premises must be avoided.

If termites are found within the house or structure, contact a licensed pest control operator for treatment.

Bayer Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus can be used to control both landscape and lawn pests at a rate of 1/2 tsp. per gallon of water.

For Landscape Pests:

• Spray leaves until evenly coated, but not dripping.

• To kill insects that hide, spray undersides of leaves.

• To achieve outdoor cockroach control, spray hiding or resting places such as under shrubbery and ground covers and in mulch and hollow trees.

For Lawn Pests:

• Hose-end sprayers work best on large areas, while pump-style sprayers and sprinkling cans work best for spot-treating smaller sections of the lawn.

• Do not mow or water lawn for at least 24 hours to keep the insecticide above ground.

• Keep foliage dry for one hour after application.

• To avoid serious damage to plants begin treatment as soon as insects or damage first appears.

In and around residences and their immediate surroundings such as (but not limited to) decks, patios, porches and garages.

Do not use in commercial food-handling establishments, restaurants or other places where food is commercially prepared or processed.

Apply to surfaces only as a spot and crack and crevice treatment.
