How It Works:
Bayer Advanced™ Fire Ant Killer begins to work upon contact, although death is not immediate. This is important, as it allows the worker ants enough time to track the powder down into the mound. Here it is picked up and spread throughout the colony including the queen.

Fire ants, pavement ants, and red harvester ants

Lawns, flower beds, ground covers and around trees and shrubs

A: Children and pets should be kept out of the areas treated with Bayer Advanced™ Fire Ant Killer Dust. This ensures that they will not be stung by fire ants or cause enough of a disturbance causing the ants to move the mound.
