Carpenter Ants: For effective control, locate and treat nests and surrounding areas. Apply around doors and windows and other places where ants enter premises and where they crawl and hide. Spray into infested wood through existing openings.
Silverfish, Crickets, Roaches and Ants: Apply as a spot and crack-and-crevice treatment to areas where these pests crawl and hide, especially in hidden areas around sinks and storage areas, behind baseboards, around doors and windows, and similar areas. Cover all food handling surfaces and cover or remove all food and cooking utensils or wash thoroughly after treatment. Exposed food should be covered or removed. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per week.
Spiders: Apply along and behind baseboards, to window and door frames, corners, pipes, storage localities, attics, crawl spaces and other areas over which these pests may crawl.
Centipedes, Ground Beetles, Pillbugs, Sowbugs, Scorpions and Ticks: Apply around doors and windows and other places where these pests may enter the premises. For ticks, spray surfaces until moist. Treat baseboards, storage areas and other locations where these pests are found. Also, treat your yard with a product registered for yard application.

Bayer Advanced™ Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Ready-To-Use should be applied as an aid in preventing termite infestations. The purpose of such applications is to kill workers or winged forms that may be present in the treated areas at the time of application. This product is not recommended as sole protection against termites.
For active infestations, get a professional inspection. Such applications are not a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil treatment or foundation treatment but are merely a supplement. For severe termite infestation, contact a professional pest control operator in your area.
How do you use Bayer Advanced™ Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate to kill subterranean termites?
Bayer Advanced™ Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate should be used to prevent subterranean termite infestations and is registered for outdoor homeowner post-construction use only.
Use Around Building Foundations:
- Use 3/4 cup (6 fl. oz.) of Bayer Advanced™ Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate per gallon of water.
- Dig a trench next to the foundation measuring 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep or down to the top of the footing, whichever is less. Never dig below the top of a footing (to avoid shifting the foundation). Remove and discard any scrap wood unearthed while digging.
- Apply 4 gallons of diluted product to every 10 feet of trench length. Refill trench with soil, mixing it with liquid. One quart treats up to 13 feet of trench length.
- Reapplication should only be made when there has been a disruption of the chemical barrier in the soil due to construction, excavation, landscaping, etc. Reapplication should be made as a spot treatment to those areas. Annual reapplication of the entire premises must be avoided.

Apply to surfaces only as a spot and crack and crevice treatment.
